Welcome to Above Bird Art.

 - where subtle experiences of life manifest through art -

 As a small child, I quietly viewed my surroundings and experiences with bewilderment.  Everything seemed so odd, like a big whirling show!  A continuous painting of sorts.

       Art became my outlet to express and decipher this World Show.

I think of my work as Intuitive Expressionist Art - since it's intuitive (tapping into the subconscious) each piece made, has a creative hand that looks different each time.

The Process:

Other than a human/animal as the initial character, I set down to create without an agenda. 

  I go into a no mind state - the hands and all the different mediums begin to show up and Voila! 

Once the piece is completed a short quote/expression pops up that expresses the content of the piece.  This narrative thus reveals a deeper experience beyond the aesthetic.
